Leeds & Reading!!!

So the mighty August Bank Holiday is almost upon us and that can only mean one thing - Leeds & Reading!! It’s a much improved line up for rock fans this year with some of Grindstores faves on everyday!
We are mostly looking forward to seeing Blink 182 in action, a welcome return!! Hope that they have us all bouncing around like loons in the pit! We are also wondering how GnR will fare this time around now the rumours that they had pulled out proved to be false? Having personally seen them twice since the original line up disbanded, I have always found them to be slightly disappointing, with Axl’s voice faltering slightly mid set. But who knows, may be this time they will be awesome!
Obviously, Kerrang’s classic songwriters, Lostprophets are there too, I thought they would be higher up the bill to be honest, I think they certainly deserve to be above Queens of the Stone Age whose last 2 offerings album wise were very poor IMHO! Those of you at Leeds can also check out Ian Watkins side project, L’amour La Morgue, who will be on in the dance tent - check out you tube to see what they are all about - Papa Roach mixed with Rhianna is just genius!
We also have some of our bestselling bands on the bill, All Time Low, You Me At Six, Paramore, Biffly Clyro, Cancer Bats, Bad Religion, Young Guns and Enter Shikari to name but a few. Also looking forward to Limp Bizkit. They made a brilliant return to form at Download last year so lets hope they are just as good this time round and that the new material they play can stand up to old faves such as ‘Break Stuff’ & ‘Faith’. I wonder what Wes Borland will be wearing too??
