In its first week of release the album sold 180,000 copies. The album spawned three singles, “Heart-Shaped Box”, “Rape Me” and “All Apologies.” Kurt Cobain died in 1994. Their popularity continued to grow. “You Know You’re Right”, an unfinished demo, was released in 2002.
