My Chemical Romance formed in 2001. Gerard Way (lead vocalist), Mikey Way (bassist), Frank Iero, Ray Toro (guitarists) and Bob Bryar (drummer) released their debut album, “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love” 2002.The album has sold over 100,000 copies in the UK and received Gold status certification. In 2004 My Chemical Romance released “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” which sold over one million copies and broke the band into the mainstream. The singles “Thank You for the Venom", "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", "Helena" and "The Ghost of You were released from the album. 2006’s The Black Parade debuted number two on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart. It received a Platinum sales status certification in the UK and features the succesful single, “Welcome to the Black Parade”, which marked the group’s first UK number one in October 2006. “The Black Parade Is Dead!”, a live DVD filmed in Mexico City, Was released in July 2008. After a lengthy break they finally released their new album "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys on November 22nd 2010.
