Metallica (1991), also known as “The Black Album” has sold over 25 million copies worldwide and spent four weeks on number one in the US. “Load” was released in 1996, marking the band’s second US number one and shortly followed by ReLoad which also peaked at number one. The band didn’t release “St. Anger” until nearly six years later which debuted at number 1 in 30 countries.
