Since their inception Korn have released 7 studio albums, won 2 Grammy awards and sold 20 million albums worldwide. The rock band formed in Bakersfield California, Musicians Reginald ‘Fieldy’ Arvizu, James ‘Munky’ Shaffer, David Silveria and Brian ‘Head’ Welch recruited vocalist Jonathan Davis in 1993 who suggested the name Korn. Head later left the band and Silveria has been replaced by Ray Luzier. Their self titled debut was released in October 1994 and “Blind” was the first single from the album. “Life is Peachy” (1996), their second studio album, debuted at number 3 on The Billboard 200 and has sold over 2 million copies to date. Two years later the band’s most successful album, “Follow the Leader” (1998), was released. It has been certified double platinum, sold almost 10 million copies and hit the top of the charts in the US, Canada and Australia. “Issues” (1999), the band’s fourth album debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard and sold 573,000 copies in the first week. The band performed the entire record for a live audience at New York’s Apollo Theatre to celebrate. The band released their greatest hits album “Greatest Hits Vol.1”, on October 5, 2004 which featured hits from the past ten years and two cover songs. Their latest release, an untitled album in July 2007 debuted at number 2 and sold 123,000 copies in its first week of release. The bands latest album 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are' was released in the summer of 2010 and debuted at No.2 on the US Billboard 200.
